Mali Phonpadith

Mali is the Founder and CEO of SOAR Community Network (SCN), Certified Talent Optimization Leader and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (IBI) certified consultant, human and leadership development trainer and facilitator. Her firm, SOAR, helps organizational leaders map their strategic priorities and build C3 cultures where Compassionate leaders thrive, Cohesive teams drive results and employees Collaborate and innovate at every level of the organization. Mali is Cofounder of SOAR Nebula, a global resource hub for transcendent leaders.

She is a TEDx and keynote speaker and twice a #1 international bestselling author. Her work in the SMB and nonprofit communities has rewarded her with many accolades. She was chosen as a Belief Team Partner through Values Partnership and the Oprah Winfrey Network. She has been nominated for the March of Dimes’ Heroines of Washington D.C. Award and twice nominated for the Women of the Year Award by NEW – Network Executive Women.

The Pew Research Center released results of 66 focus group discussions with Asian American adults. This project represents the Center’s first comprehensive examination of Asian American identity using focus groups.

Mali participated in Pew's focus group interview series and in their documentary, "Being Asian in America". She speaks about her Lao American experience in a video clip.
