Ross Stansfield

Ross has also been involved in motion picture production since 1990, as a Director, Producer, DP and Editor creating TV spots, commercial films , short films, music videos and a documentary on Raymond Loewy “Loewy Loved Locomotives” that showed at the O. Winston Link Museum in Roanoke, VA 2006. This documentary won Best Documentary Short in the IASPAW Our Visual Experience Film Showcase on November 10, 2022 held at Capital One Hall, Tysons, VA.

In 2015 he shot and lit four films for JMU promoting their MBA program.

In 2013 Ross working with Woodpile Studios and was the DP for two films for GMU for the Mason “Idea” honoring the inauguration of the new President of GMU Angel Cabreres.
Ross was co-producer and DP for two spots for Vote Climate USA Pac.

In 2012 he was the co-producer with Wandering Hat for a three camera shoot working with Forest Whitaker at the National Portrait Gallery, where twenty interviews were acquired during the “Black List” reception sponsored by AT&T.

He also coproduced and lit the web series “Hard Fix” with Rubacam productions.

He has been the DP for 16 films for “Cancer Can Rock” shot at Cue Recording in Falls Church.

In 2009 he was the producer for Allied Media working on TV, Stills and Radio spot for the 2010 Census.

Recently Ross co-produced, shot and edited a PSA for APVote.org with the Director Robert Rodriguez and also a film with Wandering Hat for the VA illustrating the construction of an interactive display using time lapse and HD video.
